MINI GOLF
Here you will find answers to various questions about our mini golf.
You buy tickets for minigolf in our ice cream bar or in our reception. You can also buy online by clicking here.
You are welcome to bring your dog onto the course. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Show consideration for other guests on the track, and clean up after the dog if an accident happens.
If you need to bring a larger dog into our mini golf, please contact our reception or our ice cream bar.
With us, it is not necessary to book in advance to play mini golf. In the high season, there are fewest guests on the course around mealtimes.
You can stay on the course as long as you like.
Contact our reception or our ice cream bar if you need to enter our mini golf with a wheelchair or a baby carriage.
You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks when you play mini golf with us. In our ice house you can buy drinks, 24 kinds of ice cream, soft ice cream, Belgian waffles, etc.
To enter the course, you must buy a ticket. Tickets cost DKK 80 per person.
Children up to and including 5 years old play for free.
You get a group discount of DKK 10 per person when you are a group of 20 people.
When you enter the course, you will find golf clubs, balls, scorecards and pencils on the right.
You can buy weekly or season passes for our mini golf course. The prices are:
- DKK 150 for a weekly pass
- DKK 250 for the spring season
- DKK 200 for the autumn season
- DKK 350 for the whole season
Jambo’s mini golf course is open every day at 10-22 from Easter to and including the autumn holidays.
SWIMMING POOL
Here you will find answers to various questions about our swimming pool.
The swimming pool is reserved for Jambo’s own guests. You must use Jambo’s swimming card to enter the swimming pool. Contact our reception if you need to enter with a baby carriage or wheelchair.
Dogs are not allowed in the swimming pool area.
You can bathe in our Fuglen service building or under the two (cold) showers in the swimming pool area.

There is room for 8 people in our jacuzzi. For the sake of bathing safety, it is only permitted to use our jacuzzi when there are bubbles. After 15 minutes, the bubbles turn off and the water must be filtered before you can bathe in our jacuzzi again. When there are only a few guests on the camp site, we close the jacuzzi to save energy.
In Jambo’s swimming pool there is also an area reserved for the little ones.
We heat the water in the swimming pool to average 30 degrees with our solar heating system and heat pumps. The swimming pool is always 12-14 degrees warmer than the air temperature.
Our swimming pool is open from Whitsun until 1 September. Weather permitting, we are happy to open earlier or close later. It is open daily from 7.30 to 9 for adult swimmers. After this, there is free play until 22. After 21, however, there is no longer access for more guests.
PLAYGROUNDS
Here you will find answers to various questions about our playgrounds.
Our playgrounds within the barriers are reserved for Jambo’s overnight guests.
The activity room is where we hold most of our indoor activities. All activities can be found on our Facebook page.
You can find our table tennis tables in the activity room. Here it is not necessary to book in advance and you can borrow bat in the our reception.
You will find our badminton courts inside the indoor playground. Here you can book a court to the right of the entrance and rent rackets in our reception for DKK 20 per set.
Should you fancy a football match, you can find the indoor field in the activity hall. If the weather is good, you can also play outside on our large football fields on the other side of Solvejen.
In our indoor playground you will find slides and trampolines. Climb high in the different, challenging play towers. Here there is room for wild playing that challenge motor skills, and there is also room for the little ones. In the acitivity hall you will also find a bouncy pillow and a special play area for small children. Sports wise, you can enjoy a badminton match (two courts), table tennis and volleyball. The indoor playground is open every day from 10 to 22.
You will find our tennis court behind Jambo Super. You can book a court in the Information and rent rackets for DKK 20 per set.
We have 8 good trampolines right next to the large playground. They are open from 10 am to 10 pm every day. The trampolines are divided by age, so there is room for children of all ages.
We have 3 small outdoor playgrounds next to each service building as well as the large playground next to the swimming pool. which means that no matter where you’re staying, the nearest playground is never far away.
The small playgrounds are reserved for children up to and including 6 years old. Safety is very important to us. That is why all our playgrounds have a soft rubber floor.
The playgrounds do not close, but the entire campsite must be quiet at 11 pm.
Our badminton net can be set up at a height so that you can play volleyball. If the weather is good, it is also possible to play beach volley on our beach volley court on the other side of Solvejen.
ACTIVITIES
Here you will find answers to various questions about our activities.
During the summer holidays, we arrange many different activities. There are at least 3 activities on all weekdays. This can be, for example, football matches, baking shortbread, watching movies, Just Dance off, painting on t-shirts, cups, stones and much more. So there lots of fun throughout the holiday is guaranteed.
During the autumn holidays, we arrange our large Halloween run. This is a large run for kids of all ages. Last year, more than 100 children helped save Karsten from becoming Doctor Zombie forever.
We hold activities for Easter, Ascension, Pentecost, during the school summer holidays and during the autumn holidays.

As a starting point, all our activities are free for our guests. There may be a few activities where you have to pay for materials such as mugs and t-shirts.. This will appear in the activity plan.
At Easter, we do activities that fit the Easter holidays. We have, among other things, egg races, painting on eggs and geek letters.
During the autumn holidays we have a Halloween theme. We therefore watch (un)pleasant movies, carve pumpkins and cook bonbons.
Many of our activities do not require registration. If registration is required, it will appear in the activity plan. You can register in our reception.
For some magic shows you have to buy a ticket. Visiting the circus is usually free. It is always on the activity plan if the activity is not free.
OPENING HOURS
Here you will find answers to various questions about our opening hours.
To keep the camping site quiet at night, the gates are only open from 7 am to 11 pm.
At Café Jambo the motto applies: delicious and sincere food at a price that all families can afford. The restaurant not only offers delicious food, but also has a well-stocked wine selection.

On the day of departure, check-out is no later than 12 pm. If you have booked one of our luxury cottages or caravans, you must check out no later than 10 am.
Our reception is open until 10 pm, so you can check in until then.
The reception is open every day from 8 am to 10 pm from Easter to and including the autumn holidays.

Our indoor playground and badminton courts are open from 10 am to 10 pm.
Our trampolines are open from 10 am to 10 pm.
Our outdoor playgrounds do not close, but the campsite must be quiet between 11 pm and 7 am.
The tennis court is open from 8 am to 10 pm.
Jambo’s mini golf course is open every day at 10-22 from Easter to and including the autumn holidays.
In order for us all to get a good night’s sleep, the campsite must be quiet between 11 pm and 7 am.
MISCELLANEOUS
Here you will find answers to various questions about miscellaneaous.
If you need to borrow a baking tray, you can borrow them in the reception.
If you have a luxury pitch, you have the option of watching TV via cable. You need an ordinary antenna cable, which you connect from the stand on your pitch to your TV. To watch TV, you must do a channel search. You can find help with channel search here. If your TV cannot find the channels, you can manually enter the following:
- Frequency: 346 MHz (346000 kHz)
- Network ID: 0
- Modulation: 64 QAM
- Symbol rate: 6900 KS
If we find forgotten things, we collect them and take them to our warehouse. If necessary, ask cleaning or reception staff for help.
We have lawn mowers available if you need to mow the lawn on your pitch. They are on the right side of the indoor playground just after the waste sorting containers.
Are you having guests at the campsite during your stay, they are also very welcome. In low season it costs DKK 20 per person. In high season it costs DKK 30 per person. When you have guests, they are allowed to use all our facilities within the barriers.
There is wireless internet throughout our campsite. Search for JamboNet.
You will find a freezer in the “Jambo” service building, where you can refreeze your cooling elements.
Should the accident happen, and you need starter cables or various tools, please ask the reception and we can help you find what you are missing.
There is electricity at all our pitches for caravans and at our large tent pitches. The power plug is a CEE plug. If you need an adapter from a CEE plug to a regular plug, you can rent one in our reception for DKK 15 per night or buy it for DKK 150.
We recommend that you bring a 25 meter cable.
To prevent vandalism, cameras have been installed in the mini cinema, activity room and indoor playground.
ELECTRIC CARS
Here you will find answers to various questions about charging of electric cars.
You end the charging by pressing the “Switch off” button under status. Charging stops automatically when the car is fully charged or maximum consumption is reached. The cable is automatically unlocked in the charging stand.
The system reserves an amount on your payment card, corresponding to the maximum number of kWh you can charge with this product. When charging is completed, consumption is calculated and only the amount that has been used is deducted.
If the plug is not fully pressed into the charging stand, it may prevent the charging stand from locking the plug. If this happens, pull the plug out and push it all the way back in. Then press the “Turn on” button under status.
Jambo has 8 charging points. When you stay at Jambo, you can leave the car while you enjoy yourself in the swimming pool, prepare dinner on the grill or jump on the trampolines. The solution is provided by Tallykey, and payment takes place viahttps://www.tallyweb.dk/jambo/home.
Press the “Open new outlet” button and enter the number indicated on the stand. Charging starts automatically. You will be shown the charging status, time, consumption and price.
You connect your own charging cable between the charging stand and the car. Remember to push the plug all the way in. To avoid theft of your cable, you must ensure that your car is set to keep the charging cable locked after charging is complete. You can also borrow a charging cable from our reception.
RENTAL UNITS
Here you will find answers to various questions about our luxury cottages and caravans.
These are luxury caravans from the Swedish brand Cabby Holiday. There is room for 6 people, two of which are best suited for children (bunk places). There is a fully equipped kitchen, toilet and Isabella awning with fixed floor.
There is a 1½-person bed and a bunk bed. In addition, the table in the caravan can be converted into another 1½-person bed.
Our luxury cottages were all built in either 2006 or 2008. They are built of massive Norwegian beams, and there is room for up to 6 people.
The cottage consists of a living room with a dining table and chairs as well as a sofa, armchair, coffee table and TV with common antenna. A nice bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and a fully equipped kitchen with a view out to the terrace. The cottage has two separate bed rooms: one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. You will find the last two beds in the cozy loft of the cottage.
For the sake of allergy sufferers, pets are not allowed in our cottages or caravans. However, we cannot guarantee that there has never been a dog or cat in the cottage or caravan.
It is possible to borrow a high chair and weekend bed completely free of charge when you stay in one of our luxury cottages or caravans.

Our cottages and caravans are non-smoking area.
The double bed in the cottages consists of two mattresses, each measuring 90 x 200 cm. The bunks measure 80 x 200 cm and the mattresses in the loft measure 80 x 200 cm.
When you rent a luxury cottage or caravan, final cleaning is included in the price.
In the cottages, electricity is billed according to consumption. Bathing in our service buildings costs DKK 8 for 3 minutes of hot water (DKK 10 in rooms with double showers). This applies both to the rental of luxury cottages and caravans.
If you rent one of our luxury caravans, electricity is included in the price.
You can buy linen packages for DKK 90 per package. A linen package consists of duvet and pillowcases, sheet and a large and a small towel. You can also buy starter packages for DKK 200 per package. You can see what the starter package contains here.
RULES
Here you will find answers to various questions about our rules.
If you are going to the swimming pool, you can find our bathing rules here.
There must be 3 meters from your own caravan and awning to other caravans and awnings. Storage tents also count.
Permanent terraces and fences are not allowed. No wooden terraces or wooden fence.
If these rules are not observed, you may be asked to move your things.
It is not permitted to charge electric cars at the pitches’ electrical sockets or at our cottages. We charge a fine in case of violation. You can charge your car at our charging stations in the parking lot outside the gates.
The Road Traffic Act also applies within the gates, therefore you must be 15 years of age to ride an electric scooter unaccompanied by an adult. In addition, you must also remember to wear a bicycle helmet. Do not drive on the pavement. You must drive with lights both at the front and at the back around the clock.
Are you having guests at the campsite during your stay, they are also very welcome. In low season it costs DKK 20 per person. In high season it costs DKK 30 per person. Your guests are allowed to use all our facilities within the barriers.

At Jambo, we want to be a sanctuary, and therefore we only have a few rules. Our guests must show consideration for each other.

It is only permitted to have one motor vehicle per rented pitch/cottage. The vehicle must be parked on your own pitch or next to the cottage. If you have several vehicles, you must park in the parking lot outside the gates.
At check-in you will receive a card. It is not permitted to let other people in with your card.

All buildings are non-smoking area. We ask that you show consideration for other guests and use the ashtrays provided.
DOGS
Here you will find answers to various questions about dogs.
A dog bar has been set up at the “Fuglen” service building and at our ice cream bar.
You will also find dog bag stands around the campsite, so if you have forgotten dog bags, it is no problem.
We have a small dog yard where you can let your dog loose. Here you can also arrange play dates with other dogs, so they can play and jump around without a leash.
Dogs are very welcome on the campsite.
Our luxury cottages and rental caravans are pet-free. Some seasonal campers at Jambo rent out their caravans, so you can possibly rent one of their caravans where dogs are allowed.
Dogs are very welcome – also on our mini golf course. To be admitted with a dog, please contact the reception or our ice cream bar.
TRASH
Here you will find answers to various questions about our garbage sorting.
At Jambo, we sort waste into 12 fractions. To make garbage sorting easier, some of the waste is sorted at the recycling facility. Therefore, we are allowed to mix food and drink cartons, soft and hard plastic together with metal.
Chemicals, paint and poison. Low-energy light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, printer cartridges and deodorants. Batteries and small gas cylinders.
Look for the hazard labels on the product.
Electric toothbrushes, shavers, TV, routers, coffee machines, lamps etc.
Small electronics can be handed in at our reception.
Wine bottles and other glass bottles without deposit. Canning jars and broken drinking glasses. Vitamin glasses and glasses from spices.
Empty and scrape the glass – do not wash.
Packaged food and leftovers in cans, in plastic packaging, in glass/bottles and cartons. Also cut flowers.
Must be delivered in clear bags or sacks.
Cartons from milk, cream, juice and cocoa. Cartons from chickpeas and peeled tomatoes. Soft and hard plastic, e.g. from packaging, cans, buckets and garden furniture. Mixed metal is aluminum (soda cans), tent poles, corn cans, foil trays.
Empty and fold packaging – do not wash.
Clean and dry paper, e.g. magazines and newspapers, receipts and paper bags must be placed in the paper container.
The cardboard container must contain clean and dry cardboard, e.g. corrugated cardboard and cartons. Cardboard packaging from food, toothpaste and washing powder. Cardboard tubes from paper towels.
Clips and tape may remain in place. NOT pizza trays.
Pizza trays, napkins, paper towels, dirty paper or cardboard. Cigarette butts, diapers, crisps/coffee bags.
All the waste that cannot be sorted into the other types of waste.
Reading sail without poles. Used clothes and textiles, e.g. towels and bed linen. Preferably worn, holed, stained or damaged, but it must be dry.
Functional clothing should be handed in for recycling.
BATHING CARD
Here you will find answers to various questions about our bathing card.
You must use the cards to enter the swimming pool area.
When you check in, you will be given some cards. These cards are personal, and itis not permitted to let other people in with your card. It is also not permitted to lend out your card.
The cards must be used to get hot water in the shower, access to the swimming pool, opening the gates and to rent mooncars. If you want access to one of our family bathrooms, you can also use your card.
The cards must be used for hot water in the showers. It costs DKK 8 for 4 minutes of hot water in the showers (DKK 10 in double showers).
You can use the cards to rent mooncars. It costs DKK 20 for 30 minutes. If you do not deliver after 30 minutes, DKK 20 will be deducted from the card every 30 minutes.
The cards must be used to open entry and exit gates. A car must stop in front of the gate.
BIRTHDAY
Here you will find answers to various questions about celebrating birthday at Jambo.
Would you like to celebrate your birthday here at Jambo? Then you can rent our party room for DKK 100 per hour. There is room for 20-25 guests, and we tak care of the cleaning after your party.
If you invite guests to a birthday party, remember that you must pay for day visits (DKK 20 per person in low season and DKK 30 per person in high season). When day visits have been paid for, your guests may use Jambo’s facilities just like you.
If you get food from Café Jambo, you can rent the room for free.
CLEANING
Here you will find answers to various questions about our cleaning.
If you rent one of our luxury cottages or rental caravans, final cleaning is included in the price.
We clean the service buildings at alternating times, so there are always two service buildings open during cleaning. The time for cleaning is indicated by signs on the service building. We ask that you please respect the staff’s barriers.
SECURITY
Here you will find answers to various questions about security.
If there is an accident, we have first aid kits in the Information and in our ice cream bar, where we have plasters, bandages, frost packs etc.
At Jambo we have a defibrillator in the reception. If you need the defibrillator outside opening hours, you can call +45 9888 1666.
During the school summer holidays, we have a night and fire watch that ensures that there is peace and order on the site from 10 pm.

PARKING
Here you will find answers to various questions about parking.
It is not permitted to charge electric cars at the pitches’ electrical sockets or at our cottages. We charge a fine in case of violation. You can charge your car at our charging stations in the parking lot outside the gates.
Only on car per pitch/cottage is allowed. The gates keep track of the number of cars.
If one car has driven into a pitch, a car may not drive back into the same pitch until the first car has driven out through the gate.
The car must be parked on your own pitch or at the cottage. Alternatively, use the large parking lot outside the gates.
